Prior to joining Deep Instinct in 2016, Shimon served for 14 years as an officer in the Israel Defense Force’s elite cyber unit. Shimon’s background includes a wide range of cyber security and research positions, where he managed multifunctional teams of hackers, researchers and engineers. Shimon led the development of new methods and tools for the analysis of cyber-campaigns, as well as a series of innovative cyber intelligence collection capabilities.
Over the years Shimon has worked extensively with a variety of industry, defense and intelligence partners and agencies in North America and Europe. He is a recipient of the President of Israel Award for Outstanding Military Service, and holds B.Sc (Electrical Engineering) and MBA (Finance and Tech management) degrees, both with distinction.

Dr. Omri Allouche heads the Research department at Gong, which uses machine learning to help teams operate based on customer reality instead of opinions. Omri also teaches Data Science and Deep Learning at Bar Ilan University and the Y-Data program. He has over 20 years of experience in various research positions, and holds a Ph.D. in Computational Ecology from the Hebrew University (cum laude). He won several academic awards and scholarships, and his research papers had been cited thousands of times.
Liran Hason is the Co-Founder and CEO of Aporia, a full-stack ML observability platform used by Fortune 500 companies and data science teams across the world to ensure responsible AI. Prior to founding Aporia, Liran was an ML Architect at Adallom (acquired by Microsoft), and later an investor at Vertex Ventures.
